Its one thing when a hack such as Michael Bay rapes a franchise you love, its quite another when the actual creator does the raping.

Lucas was never really that talented, rather he was surrounded by talented people (Marcia, Gary Kurtz, Irvin Kershner, Lawrence Kasdan), who made his ideas into something coherent. The fact GL disliked Empire Strikes Back tells you everything.

Anno is a long way from fucking up his baby to the extent Lucas has.

Still, whereas George gave us Jar Jar, Anno gave us Mari. I don't think anyone has fapped over Jar Jar...at least I hope not.
